My iphone 3gs turns off if i do more than one thing at a time no matter what the battery percentage is? I t even turns when I am just listening to music and it says it has about 60-70% left please help!

You are correct. The iPhone is displaying features of faulty battery. First step would be to Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. At end when prompted, Set Up iPhone as New.
