Anyone else have problems with Mac Mail connecting to an IMAP?
ive confirmed my settings with my ISP and they have tested them their end and say all my settings are correct and should work and dont kow why they dont.
Any tips i could try?
OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
This morning my Mac Mail won't download new mail. I see the Activity monitor showing 20 new emails, but then the "no new mail" sound beeps and then nothing. I am on Yahoo mail.

Remove the account and then make it again, backup first.
Okay, suddenly, all by itself, Mac Mail updated my yahoo mail. I think it was a Yahoo Mail problem. I spent a couple of hours this morning trying to fix it. Meanwhile, I had to read my email on the internet.
This is new configuration. I'm changing from POP to IMAP. All details entered are correct.
And suddenly... it all seems to work.. odd..
