Java Update not working
I am battling in a very long process of trying to update my computer. I am having troubles with the first step, though. When trying to move files onto an external harddrive, the window that i 'drag and drop' into reads "The drag and drop file upload application requires the Java plugin version 1.5 or above for your browser.
Please click here to download and install the Java plugin and enable it for your browser." ....... When I 'click here' it brings me to the java download center. That page reads "For Java versions 6 and below, Apple supplies their own version of Java. For Mac OS X 10.6 and below, use the Software Update feature (available on the Apple menu) to check that you have the most up-to-date version of Java 6 for your Mac." So... when i went to the apple menu, opened Software Updates, it said that everythign was up to date. Now.... after this long cycle of different sources telling me that i need updates, I have no idea what to do. Any ideas?
Thanks!
