What do you do if you don't remember your iCloud password?

When I go there, it asks for my AppleID and when I enter that it takes me to the page where you choose which apps use iCloud - nothing to do with passwords. It's only since the last upgrade to OS10.9.4 that I've been asked for an iCloud password and I don't recall ever having one. In addition, one time I was asked for an iMessage password - I've never even heard of iMessage.
What do you do if you don't remember your iCloud password?
