I am an ipad 2 owner with an 8GB iPod touch 4th generation. I have seen the new iPod come out recently. With Christmas coming up I was pondering wether to get then new iPod ar the ipad mini. Any help would be appreciated...

It depends if you want/need the bigger screen. It has advantages and disavantages. Alot the iPad can do panormic photos.
If if yu want a cellular connection you need the iPad.

Yes, I have the 5th generation iPod touch and it is (in my opinion) the best touch yet. The camera is great for taking photos for a change, it it very fast, the new retina display is noticeably better, and Siri is an awesome feature. I highly recommend this to anyone.
How much would it cost. Sorry for so many questions.
Apple will only give you a 10% recycling discount if you turn in an old iPod when you purchase a new one. Better off selling it yourself.
