Facetime now says Lion is too new for it to run. Same from Apple Store

So I accidently screwed up my system and had a do a restore from a couple hours earlier. Everything works fine, but when I run Facetime I just get a camera with a circle and line through it. I pulled it out of the Applications file and tried to reinstall another copy of it and it says that my OSX [Lion 10.7.5] is too new for it to run. I've also noticed that the app icon for it has a circle and line through it like it's not runnable under this system. It works fine with everything else except photobooth which just spins and spins and nothing happens.

Any ideas?
