How do I pair my Iphone 5 with my Honda CRV 2012 please???!!!

I've went through the manual that comes with the car and it's useless because it sends me to a web page where the most current version is Iphone 4. So nothing I try works... I called my Honda dealer and they tell me that this is a phone issue, it's not Honda... and they adviced me to call my phone company (TelUs)... which I already did and they tell me I should call Apple, so before calling, does anyone know how can I pair my Iphone 5 to my Honda CRV 2012?

I tried pairing them, search, wi-fi on, etc, but it doesn't recognize it... It was working fine with my BlackBerry Bold but it's not now and I am completely clueless... This is my first Iphone so please help me on this step by step...

Check this document about bluetooth profiles http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647 and then verify with the owner's manual to see what your vehicle supports.

Hi, i just checked the document and the information there is what I already know. I have the latest IOS version 6.0.1 and unfortunately the owner's manual of my vehicle doesn't state a thing about how to connect to a Blue tooth device, it just gives you a web page where you are supposed to find your smart phone info and then pair it. But this web page has info as updated as Iphone 4 and nothing else.

I called Honda and they told me they are aware of the situation but they know it's not a problem with the car (because I was able to connect/pair to my old Blackberry) so they suggest I call TelUs and when calling TelUs they suggest I call Apple. I'll call later today to see what can I do about this. If I get a solution I will post it right away. Thanks though...

Try Settings > General > Accessibility > Incoming Calls and change it from Default to Headset. Un-pair and re-pair the phone in the vehicle. This worked for me in pairing iPhone5 in 2013 CRV. Good luck.
