Deleted app store icon

You can't delete the preloaded Apple Apps. You may have moved it to a folder or another screen.

If you swipe al the way to the left and search for App Store can it be found?

Also check you did not set a restriction on it.

The App Store app is a default app of the iOS and cannot be deleted. You may have inadvertently moved it on top of another app. Tis creates a folder that contains both apps. To find your App Store app swipe you home screen to reveal the left most screen, which is a search screen. Search for App Store. You'll find it.

I have tried that and it isn't there !

Have you hidden it by Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps set 'off' ?

thank you your answer to the question worked. I spent days trying to recover the apple update app I accidentally deleted. tried to recover back ups from my computer nothing worked. thank you
