Apple id payment update
The credit card I used to create my apple ID expired and I don't have a new credit card and apple won't let me into my account with out adding a new card, how can I just sign in to download free apps?

I think the main problem everyone is having right now (including me) is that the option 'NONE' is not in the edit payment section anymore so there is no way for us to edit our apps (especially upgrade them) without getting a pop up message about billing
Not true everyone is having the problem. I just signed in (App store > store > Edit) and, exactly what it says in the link I gave in an earlier post, up came the choice of four acceptable cards, click and buy, and at the end was 'None'.
When people are not showing the 'NONE' option, that's a good sign you have a block on your account.

Not necessarily, that would be akin to saying to customers that free apps are exclusive to good accounts. I hope Apple would not want to be thought of in such mercenary terms.
That's a screenshot of my itunes. I sent it to support awhile ago. I hope they can help because right now i have 5 apps that need upgrading
