Q: deleting book purchases from ibooks

i am using an ipad and have IOS 6.0.1. I want to delete a book purchase from my purchased items. I have been to the ibooks store "purchases" tab where I have read that I should be able to swipe for a "hide" option, but all i get is "downloaded" or a download option

have just done further cruising and it seems this WAS an option under IOS 5 but 6 seems to have done a "hide" job on this option. Hey there Mr Apple - can we have this rectified please.
