Jun 7, 2016 11:10 AM in response to kimberdby MacTriker,After suffering for the better part of a year with my mouse on my two iMacs, I may have hit upon the simplest solution of all time. No, the plug wasn't out of the wall, but almost as simple. When using my magic mouse, I rest my index and middle fingers on the mouse and begin clicking away. Quite by accident, I discovered that my index finger was drifting toward the middle of the mouse and I think was most of the cause of so many false right clicks. My index finger was hitting on or over the "middle" of the mouse. It could be that Apple's manufacturing stds have calibrated the middle further to the left and consequently is causing me and many other users to get more false right clicks (i.e. pop-up menus as if one had right-clicked to do something else). I've deliberately started making sure that my index finger is clicking as far to the left side of the mouse as possible. And, I've eliminated ALL of the false right clicks. (So far, so good said the man who jumped from a 100 story building and was asked how it was going from the 99th floor window.)
I'll continue to monitor this situation, but maybe this will help your right slick dilemma.
