    Help for what ? Assuming that you are having some sort of problem redeeming a gift card based on where you've posted from - in which case are you getting an 'invalid code' message, you've scratched some of the code off the card, ... ?

     

    If you're getting an 'invalid' message then was the gift card issued in the same country as your account is based ? They are only valid in their country of issue. If it was issued in your country and/or you've scratched some of the code off the card and this page doesn't help then you will need to try contacting iTunes support (you will need to give them the serial number and activation code from the card) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes

    Whether you can update the iOS version will depend upon what model of device it is and what version of iOS that you have on it - some older devices don't support iOS 5 and/or iOS 6.

    If you already have iOS 5+ on it then you should have a Settings > General > Software Update option for direct update on the device, if it's on iOS 4 or below then you can only updae via a computer's iTunes.

    To see if you can update via a computer, connect the device to your computer's iTunes (is your computer's iTunes up-to-date ?) and copy any purchases off the device to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11). You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the device as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the device by right-clicking the 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.

    Then start the update by selecting the device on the left-hand side of iTunes (on iTunes 11 you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC), and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

    it should tell you if their is a new update and if there is you just go to your settings and there should be a 1 on one on them...sorry its not in detail i would look at my Ipod to tell you but im having problems with mine..

    What do you mean 'cant use for purchase app' ? What happens when you try to buy an app ?

     

    If you are being prompted to review your account and add payment details then how did you create the account ? Unless the instructions on this page are followed when creating an account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534

    then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store.
