cannot access itunes from computer, win7 64 bit

I was able to connect to iTunes a while ago and also when my iPhone was connected to my laptop. For some reason I can't access it now. I've removed my antivirus and reinstalled it, but it tries to load, but doesn't load. Trying to turn on my sharing for Apple TV.
