I have mail icon in my apps folder but the app will not fire up. basically Icon and no app
I have mail icon in my apps folder but the app will not fire up. basically Icon and no app...No mail..nada.

I see you have 10.6.8 Snow leopard. Have you recently updated via the combo update (Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1) and added the security download 2012.004? About Mail should show you on 4.6 (1085).
