I have a 27' Apple Led Cinema Display. The problem is i cannot adjust the brightness. F1 and F2 keys on the keyboard are unable to adjust the brightness. And on the System preferences > Displays > the brightness pane is not there. Am using OSX 10.6.8 Mac Pro. The monitor cables are connected properly. Anyone with a solution? Thanks. J Mwaura

Make sure the display's USB cable is plugged into the computer. Also you may need a software update:
Thanks very much Malcom for your response. I upgraded the system to 10.7.5 before i read your reply. The problem is, the software update i downloaded is for system 10.6.8. Can i get a link for system 10.7.5? Thanks. JMwaura
That update should be included in 10.7.5 so you won't need it.
Is the display's USB cable plugged into the computer?

Did you try the firmware update?
