I was trying to clear data from my old computer (to give to my little sister), and I accidentally deleted all my "notes" from the "mail" program (not just from that computre, but even on the icloud apparently)!
Is there anyway to restore the notes back to my phone & new computer from my last icloud back up?

Notes are not part of an icloud backup. Once they are deleted, they're gone. Your only hope is to restore to the computer the files from a Time Machine backup. If you don't use TM, then the notes are gone. Be sure to start using TM.
1. are you sure? because my iPhone says that my notes are backed-up on the iCloud, and there is one from yesterday available to restore to
2. if not, how to do i restore from Time Machine? what is the directory/folder that notes are stored in?

If you synced your iPhone with itunes.
to restore from a previous backup, be sure to go into iTunes before you
connect your iPod Touch or iPhone and set iTunes > preferences > devices
and check “prevent iPods and iPhones from syncing automatically.This ensures we don’t erase the previously stored backup.

Copy/paste the URL works. There is no official Apple guidance on this that I am aware of.
