Getting credit for a purchase made with wifes credit card.

I purchased 2 (two) Thunderbolt displays at an apple store and had to use my wifes credit card because mine had a daily limit. The receipt and everything went to her Apple ID and not mine.

She doesnt use apple products outside of an iPod and I wanted to get the purchase on my Apple ID account. Could we go to a apple store with a invoice printed out, plus identification and have someone apply the purchase to my account?
