choose application to open

I went online to buy Mountain Lion OS. There's a prompt asking to select an application to read the site. I mistaknly chose Firefox. Now, when I access The Apple Store, 800+ individual tabs are loaded onto the screen. Firefox frezzes and I'm stuck. Does anyone know the reverse gear which would allow me to back up and change to a preferred application for reading the site?
