Hi there,
I tried every thing for now from the changing of the USB cable to the reset of the Ipod, updating itunes etc.
Nothing, this nano won't show up in itunes nor in disk utility. Same for Windows XP on a pc, it's just not there.
It does load though so I have full battery...
The Apple 5 points did nothing and several forums later I'm still at same point.
Any idea guys ???

Does the iPod still charge when you have it connected to either the PC or the Mac?
What if you try connecting the iPod to the PC or Mac in Disk Mode? Any luck there with it at least showing up as an externally mounted drive?
Have you looked at the dock connector on the iPod for signs of damage or debris that could preventing a proper connection?
With the iPod connected to the PC, run a device connectivity test and post the results.

yes charges on both mac and PC. Putting Ipod into disk mode it said "ok to disconnect" after following the steps. I reloaded the ipod but still not seen on mac even as a disk. Connectivity ok.
I ll try this device connectivity thing on a pc...

Hi MLGkiwi, did you ever solve this issue? I'm having the same problem with my 6th generation nano, too. It doesn't show up anywhere. It's frustrating. Any light you can shed on this would be very appreciated.
