All the files are locked after changing the owner. Anybody knows why?

After changing the owner of the files and logging in with the new account, all the files seem to be locked. Although, in Finder the lock checkbox doesn't appear to be marked.

I tried to go through the ACLs and see if there is anything strange there, I also used the chflags command with the "nouchg" parameter, but no luck either.

I keep getting the message saying the files are locked but there is no such setting anywhere on the file system or Finder that I can change to correct the situation.

Any hints appreciated.
