i have an iphone 4 locked to at&t and i want to use my phone for the telus network how will i accomplish this

my phone says the carrier is at&t and i want to use telus mobility and my phone wont let me how do i unlock my phone

iPhone 4, iOS 6

iPhone: About unlocking - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5014 - Only some carriers offer the ability to unlock iPhone for use on any carrier. Follow the instructions in this article to unlock your iPhone.
