Series of books not updating on iBooks

Hello,

I have designed a series of books but I am unable to insert them into iBooks.

I am using dropbox (from my desktop dropbox application to my ipad dropbox application to ibooks using the "open in iBooks" top right button) to do that. The first book is fine but then when I add the second one then I still see 1 book: the first one.

In case I delete that one then a new book can be inserted but then I can only have that one no matter how many books from the same series I add, so its again the same thing.

Any suggestions? No books share the same title. Its also not a dropbox thing since I tried to download the book from a public link as well.

The hole thing was possible using the older version of iBooks but not the new one.

I've had no replies yet, but it's at least "re-assuring" to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this problem.

Hope someone can come up with an answer/solution soon.

This certainly seems to tally with my experience and the hidden metadata theory does seem to answer why it could be happening. Just need Apple to acknowledge and address the problem.

As this Support Community obviously isn't moderated by Apple, can I suggest as many people as possible use the iBooks Author Feedback form to report their issues. Hopefully then, someone at Apple might take note and try and rectify these problems.
