I was sharing>burning a fcp 90 minute project and a little over an hour... the dvd came out and I got the following pop-up message: Please insert the dual layer media to burn the disc "xyz". What do I need to do?

I'm using the same disc that I have sucessfully used before. Why were those burns problem free???
Because the application is using higher data rates than previously.

I'll order some of those dual layer disc from B&H Photo tomorrow. They were $50 for 50.
I'm not sure what data rates were used... but both projects were 90 minutes with about the same number of effects, images and photos... the only set-up difference was... one was stereo and the other surround.
Someone mentioned that a compressor may help me with my burns... is that correct?
Compressor doesn't seem to the have the same problem. Though it does have a problem making disk images.
So will compressor help with my burns? I don't think I'll be making any disk images... you mean like to burn an image onto the dvd???
