How do you plan on doing so? The only other alternative is to do a speed test to match it with ones already done on the 6x. If you dont trust the connector, about section, box, Apple, people here, or guy that sold it to you then you either do that or break it open to read A6X.  People are telling you how to check and its still not acceptable. Theres not much for you here if you do  not believe the information given to you.

You need to purchase nothing additional:

This is very simple Swamin: Identifying iPad models

Connect it to a Mac running iTunes and the model number will be right there.

Please do so and provide a screenshot or transcription of the information on that page.

Please answer Joseph Kriz's questions also:

Sounds like you might have been mislead by the Salesperson?

    Where did you buy this?

    An Apple Store?

    or some other retailer?

... because the Apple Online Store as well as all Apple Stores and authorized resellers provide the documentation you request. I would insist upon it.

If you continue to ignore these requests I will conclude you are more interested in ranting about irrelevant subjects than in solving your problem.

Unless I buy the product second hand (ebay, amazon, craigslist, etc) then I trust what the manufacture tells me is in it.

I feel less and less like you want really answers and help and more and more like you are trying to prove some sort of point or pursuade us to a particular way of thinking. Unless you want to answer the questions that have already been asked of you many times I don't see how else you expect us to help you. If you are so dissatisfied with your product you have 14 days to return it. No one is forcing you to buy Apple. If yo don't like the way they conduct/handle themselves then don't buy their products. It's pretty much that simple.
