Upgrade 10.6 server with the combo update. Now WGM is slow to respond.
A common trigger for slowness in the Server Admin tools is a DNS server or DNS configuration error. To test for that, launch Terminal.app (Applications > Utilities) and issue the following (non-destructive, informational-only, no changes performed) command:
sudo changeip -checkhostname
enter an administrative password when prompted, and then read through the output, and (down near the bottom) whether it reports changes required, or if no changes are required.
have a look at activity monitor see if any of the running processes are causing high CPU usage
I am running a seperate DNS server but do have DNS running on the Mac server. (have tried with both DNS services off and on) I ran check hostname and replied with no changes required.
