I have read about activating high performance for Macbooks, but this option is not available for some reason on my 13" laptop. Is there a way I can activate this? I ran photoshop daily and it could save me a hassle working with the best performance. I need to get the most out of it.

It depends on what model you have. For instance, my Late '08 15' 2.4 GHz has a processor big enough to handle the extra load....yours may not.
What model do you have?
Processor size is listed by clicking on the in your title bar....go to About This Mac and it's in the 1st window.
They stated they have the 13" model, which in this case, makes what they are asking impossible since the 13" models only have 1 graphics card.
Ah yes...figured that... but don't know much about 13" models🙂
Thank you, shldr. I did not know there was a huge difference in those models, and it would affect me in the long run. I read ways to optimize my laptop, and they kept mentioning that option.
