Sync Podcast App on iPhone 5 with Desktop iTunes

I DL'd the podcast app on my iPhone 5 and added a few podcasts. I would like to transfer the PC's to my desktop iTunes so I can sync with my iPod.

Does anyone know if this is possible and/or can you provide the steps to accomplish this?
