when i start my system information with "about mac"
it says that i got a 13inch macbook pro
but i got a 15inch macbook pro (middle 2012, os x 10.75)
could it be that there is a problem with the os??

Now that's the first I've ever heard of that happening... do you have all of the latest system updates, etc.
AFAIK, the hardware reading isn't software dependent - if you've an Apple Store or an AASP near you, I'd take your machine in and have them look at it: because I've never seen or read here of that problem!
