My ipad4 does not recognise the bose soundlink after I cleared the soundlink of previous paied devices.
However, my iphone works fine with the same soundlink.
I have obtained new software download from bose and also tried all instructions from bose and from the net but no success.
any ideas?

Yes I tapped on the device without any success.
The problem seems that the ipad4 does not recognise the Bose-sondlink as this does not appear on the window .
Initially after I bought the ipad, the soundlink paired for about 20 mins and then unpaired itself.Since then no success in pairing the soundlink.
My iphone works normally with the soundlink.

Make sure you turn off all other Bluetooth devices close by e.g. your iPhone and iPod
If you have an Airport Express, you can use AirPlay in conjunction with the AUX settings. This will be using WiFi.
