my Home Sharing not working

NOPE. doesn't help at all.

i tried all the recommended actions, i even deactivated my firewall completely (my mac is now open for all the hackers in the world!!!!).

still can't see any shared library in itunes 11.

i have the newest version (0.4), i booted, rebooted, closed itunes, signed off from the store, signed in again, nothing helped. i still can't see the library from my other mac in the left sidebar.

please, help me!!!

I have tried all those, still not working...I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. My desktop picks up my laptop but my laptop doesn't allow me to see all my music from my desktop library, very frustrating!! Please help! Most of my music on my desktop is from cds that I imported into iTunes to put on my iPod, so I don't know if that is the problem or not but I would like for those songs to be on my laptop too!

I was using my iMac as a router - "Internet Sharing" in Preferences, instaed of a flaky Linksys router that I had, and could not HomeShare. When I switched back to the Linksys, Home Sharing worked perfectly across all computers: iMac, Mac Mini, iPad and iPhone 4s.

Hope this helps cause I've seen a lot of these posts.

Cant get home sharing to show on 1 of my computers.

2 other computers show up fine using same apple id account.

this was working fine untile today.

just storpped for no aparent reason.

no new software or hardware. rebooted computer, turnedOFF firewalls and antivirusand still nothing appears.

tried singing out and back in to home sharing many times. no use

ohh heres a real kick in the head...on same computer im having touble with, i made a new user profile, i tunes was in the profile, signed into itunes, home sharing was fine. so this proves issue has nothing to do with hardware.

i am running win 7 64bit.

please help.

Home sharing doesn't work. you may get it to work for a bit but eventually it will stop and no one knows why!

home sharing works perfectly on ios 7.03 on iphone 4s. Does not work on ipad with newest ios or iphone with newest ios. I have itunes 11.1.5 installed on imac and macmini and homesharing works from both to said iphone but not the others so for me it has to do with newest ios update. I would install newest update on iphone 4s to verify that it breaks it but i rather enjoy using it.

Apple TV is with latest update.

Home sharing just do not work. Not able to see computer from my Apple TV.

I am using this from last 2 years. Recently received updates for iTune, Apple TV, iPhone.

So aware of basic functionality. Connected with WiFi BB, Also tried with Personal Hotspot of iPhone..

iTune is enabled in Firewall setting.

It is not working at all. Please share any solution.

hi ive been having problems with home sharing for some time and now lost it for good im using latest ios on ipad 3 iphone 5c windows 8.1 home share is all turned on yet is not showing up on anything not even my apple tv as keeps telling me to turn on home sharing ive turned of my firewall and still the same nothing was working great till all new updates and now nothing whats so ever 😠

My home sharing suddenly stopped working recently on my laptop and my iphone... Maverick seems to be a lemon! This is the second major screw up since updating to it. APPLE-help us out here!
