Pink tint in half of new MacBook Pro screen
About one month ago I bought a new MacBook Pro 15" with the High-Res glossy display (not Retina). The screen model is LTN154MT07, which I believe is manufactured by Samsung.
Over the past few weeks, as I use it more frequently, I'm starting to notice that the right side of the screen has a very minor pink tint to it: this is not very noticeable for most colors, except for light greys and white, where staring at a flat color canvas reveals that the right side feels "warmer" than the left side. What's strange is that this pink tint varies in intensity throughout the day. It doesn't seem to be related to lighting conditions, since I'm seeing this in all cases, and even when using the computer in a fixed place for an entire day.
Is this indicative of a bad screen? And what are my options with this computer that I bought in late October? Noticing this constantly is getting quite frustrating.
Thanks for your advice.
