I pad mini

I just bought my brand new iPad mini and I don't have a computer. I plug it into to the wall and it won't charge. What am I doing wrong?

Probably nothing. It could be a faulty charger. There's been several reports of those.


Try different outlets, and make sure the battery icon on the top right of screen has a lightning bolt through it.


If it still won't charge take it back to the Store and ask that they test the charger there. The warranty should cover a replacement.
