can i merge 2 accounts
I just realized that I have 2 accounts. One from an old email address years ago and a current one...is there a way to merge them so I don't lose the music?

It's not currently possible to merge accounts, nor to transfer content from one account to another account - content will remain tied to the account that bought/downloaded it. As long as both accounts are authorised on the computer's iTunes that you sync to then you should be able to continue using your downloads from both.
