Wrong code in terminal

I have a question that I can't find an answer for.

I entered input:focus { outline: none; } into terminal trying to get rid of the blue glow input box on some webpages. The result in terminal was -bash: syntax error near unexpected token `}' and nothing actually changed in safari (blue box still there) . My question is what does that code mean and does my computer now have a bad line of code, and if it does how do I get rid of the bad code?

Please help me. Thank you

That code would be placed in a CSS sheet to which you then point Safari in the Advanced preferences. You don't enter it in Terminal. Your code almost certainly did nothing at all.

There are other pages on the topic if you search the web. Whether this works with the current version of Safari I can't say with certainty.

Regards.
