Itunes strips away numbers.
iTunes strips off the numbers from my file names, so if I have "1 - Intro" and "2 - Beginning" they get imported as "Intro" and "Beginning". Is there a way to keep iTunes from stripping off the leading numbers?

iTunes displays the information in the tag, if present, not the filename. Typically the leading digits of the filename correspond to the track numbers which should also be imported. You can adjust the view settings to make sure this information is displayed.

Thanks. That led me to the answer -- which for those of you who want more detail is go to [View > View Options] , then select "Track Number" and you'll be able to view those numbers.
