Q: Time Capsule issue

My modem ethernet port is already in use to connect to my router.  How do I connect my Time Capsule if the ethernet port is occupied?

Bridge the TC and plug it into the existing router..

Or remove the existing router and plug in the TC since it is a router as well as network hard disk. In fact it is mostly a router with a hard disk tacked on.

If you run in router mode, you need to figure out the WAN connection type.. for cable modem it is usually just dhcp so easy.. for adsl it has to be pppoe as other alternative will not work.

Whatever is on the current router should also work on the TC>
