Does the iPod Touch 5th Generation vibrate?

I know there has been a lot of talk about the ipod touch 5g having the ability to vibrate. i am getting one tomorrow, and would like to know if it can vibrate. the user manual has a section about notifications. in it, it says "Choose alert sounds, adjust the alert volume, or turn vibrate on or off: Go to Settings > Sounds." ive checked the internet, and some say it can vibrate, others say it can't. who knows for sure if it can?
