Q: Time Machine couldn’t complete the backup. The backup disk could not be found.

For the past few months, Timemachine is not able to do an automatic backup and I get the following message: Time Machine couldn't complete the backup. The backup disk could not be found.

The ONLY way I can get it to work is to unplug my Time Capsule, plug it back in and then manually tell Time Machine to back up.

MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
