Why did Apple take out lyrics display in iPad? Why make it different than iPhone & iPod?

A lot of people are now using their iPads to play karaoke or minus 1 music. I've even downloaded some from iTunes. I can't seem to understand why Apple had to take it out in IOS 5. What's the reason behind it? Why does it have to be different than the iPhone or iPod?

These are user-to-user forums, we won't won't know why lyrics aren't included in the Music app on the iPad on iOS 5+, I don't think that Apple have ever said. If it's something that you want then you can try leaving feedback for Apple via this page, and maybe in a future iOS update they'll be added : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html
