iTunes store not displaying properly

Hey there,

I recently reinstalled Windows (7 Home Premium x64) along with the latest version of iTunes. The store (and every other link in the right-hand pane) isn't rendering correctly; it currently looks like a bunch of images stacked vertically along the left hand side with a bit of descriptive text (blue links) under album covers. If I didn't know any better I'd say there's some sort of style sheet it's not using.

My network settings haven't changed since it was working flawlessly so I'm not sure what's going on at my end which is causing this. However I'm sure that someone's seen this happen before and may be able to give me some guidance.

Below is a (small) screenshot of the problem.

Thanks b noir, I followed the steps in the article and one linked to it but the firewall is fine and the iTunes diagnostics tool says nothing's wrong with the connection to the store. I might try installing the new version later today to see if that solves anything; I wrote the original post only a few hours before 11 was released, so "latest" referred to 10.7.0.21!

Hmmmm.

By way of experiment, try launching your iTunes by doing a "Run as administrator".

Quit iTunes first.

In Computer, open Local Disk C: or whichever drive you have your program files installed on.

If you have a 32-bit Windows, open the "Program files" folder.

If you have a 64-bit Windows, open the "Program Files (x86)" folder.

Open the "iTunes" folder.

Right-click on the iTunes.exe file and select "run as administrator".

Visit the store ... is it displaying properly now?
