Q: Changed the batteries on my Apple wireless keyboard and now the IMAC doesn't recognize my keyboard.  I turned it on (the keyboard) and it lit up green like normal however I can't even get into my computer because I have to enter my password!!! HELP!

I changed the batteries on my Apple wireless keyboard and now I can't get my IMAC to sync up or recognize the keyboard so that I can type my password to get into my work.  This is a nightmare and a terrible glitch when this system is very expensive!!!! Please help!!!!

    I have a similar problem.  I changed the batteries in my WKP-1314 numaric keypad and now it won't reconnect.  I followed the install procedure to the letter.  Anyone have any clue?

    To start, get a wired USB keyboard ... always good when the wireless fails.

     

    That lets you get into the system to perhaps perform SMC or PRAM resets, or to manually unlink BT devices as advised.

    use on screen keyboard

     

     

     

     

    to open on screen keyboard in mac os x 10.8.4 .

     

     

     

     

    go to the system preferences -> language & text -> input sources (tab) -> then click on keyboard and character viewer (turn it on). and use this keyboard for enter password .

     

    u can open keyboard and character (after turn it on) from the  main menu bar right side on the top.

     

    i think this one helps u..
