Is there a Java app replacement that I can use on my ipad? I need it for a typing course I teach at the local CC
I teach a keyboarding course at the CC and need a java replacement app to handle the course exercises.

No, sorry, there is not. The only way you could run a Java app via your iPad would be to use one of the several remote control apps to take control of a computer that can run Java, probably not very practical in your circumstance. I wouldn't suggest trying to use an iPad for a typing course in any case unless you have a Bluetooth keyboard you can use.
