Where is Power Search?
Where has Power Search gone? It has disappeared from the far right column in iTunes, where the Quick Links are.

Gone, apparently. At least, I can't find it either.

if you wish to comment to Apple on the matter.
Regards.
I already sent a query. The reply gave me links on how to use iTunes on my laptop. Not helpful at all.
The link I gave is for providing comments to Apple. You will not get a reply. If you contacted iTunes Support, they can't tell you how to use a feature that no longer exists, which appears to be the case as regards Power Search.
Regards.
Done but it takes feedback with no guarantee of a reply. OTOH iTunes Support does reply but you say it can't do anything. Perfect!
It's no longer in my quick links anymore either...however on the top (above your account info) is a search browser...and you can still do searches there.
Does not have the features of Power Search. Apple could always explain how much better it is now, like Maps?
Interesting. I typed "power search" in the Search box you mentioned. It took me to "Raw Power" by Iggy Pop! But there was also a large radio button called Power Search. Clicking that took me back to the old Power Search format, where you can pick Music then add Genre, Composer, etc. like I'm used to. Stupid workaround but at least the Power Search feature still exists!
Found it under iTunes U! Don't know why the moved it from the main page but you will find it here.
No it's not there, under iTunes U, Seansfc. Power Search is still MIA. I don't use Discussions much; is it considered rude to ask Apple why they made this change? Or do you just put up with this sort of thing?
If you mean asking here, since Apple does not reply to questions made in these forums, there's no point in asking. None of us, your fellow users, will have any more information that you do. Nor will Apple generally ever reply to questions about their design decisions. All you can do is request via the feedback pages that they reinstitute the feature.
Regards.
I thought monitored the forums, like other companies do, as an early warning system for problems.
Macworld published its 1st look at iTunes 11 today, with more coming soon.

The Hosts do their best, but with thousands of new posts every week, it's not an efficient way to post suggestions, and Apple will never reply. Again, the feedback page is the best way to submit comments - even our Apple account executives say they can't take comments and to use the feedback pages - and you'll never get any sort of answer unless Apple makes a general public statement as they did in the case of Maps in iOS.
Regards.
The "search" window sort of works. Can't find power search at all yet. But heres a good one... if you say , get to the list of songs by the artist, you can't sort the list. it appears as a fairly random list that you cannot sort by title or, popularity or, times. I am trying to resrerve judgement but I may be heading back to 10 soon. How is removing all the control functions supposed to be an upgrade? Steve J. would be disapointed.
I also got no help at all from the support staff. I simply am not going to purchase anything else until this gets resolved!
Me neither!!! If all you have is a song title or artist the New itunes is terrible to use to find exactly what you are looking for...
