Where is iTunes DJ in iTunes 11?

I just upgraded to iTunes 11 and noticed that iTunes DJ is missing from the Sidebar as well as from the dropdown menu. I used this feature often at my house for parties so iPhone users could have fun suggesting music.

What happened to this feature? Is it still there, but hidden?

Yay! 30 pages! Apple are loosing me, too. When I get a tablet, it probably won't be an iPad - I like what the previous comment said. Unfortunately, My mac shipped with Mountain Lion, and Internet recovery would take too long on our slow connection (5mbps Down 0.38mbps Up). That would ruin our Internet if I did Internet Recovery. Considering I'd like to :-(.

They are moving, converting or pulling out of the iTunes scene. Mac talk.

You are obviously one of us PC's.

I personally have had enough of this loss of use crap. Remember the day when you had an LP, tape or disc that you could do what you want with. I firmly believe in owning what you pay for and the responsibility attached to that. There are other ways to protect music and such, without making a monopoly out of other peoples work.

I am upset about the fact they have all my money and I can't use my music elsewhere without infringing on the rights laid out in a countless amount of rhetoric called "Terms of Use".

Yah, I agree, I didn't read it all and I still knew what it meant. Guess who's richer.

Not me.

They wonder why people download on the sly...

If I feel upset with a couple hundred bucks invested, I can only imagine the poor soul's with thousands. Lets hope they got a Mac.

PC out.

Hi Designer Cow.

It's not "impossible," to revert to 10.7.....many of us have done so, with varying "hitches," like losing playlists etc, which happened to me.

That's not too much of an issue, as I change them almost weekly..but it can be done, and relatively painlessly with a few simple steps which, if you trawl through the earlier part of this discussion, will be made clear in a few basic steps.

My only and continuing gripe, is that I'm still getting reminders to "upgrade," to 11.01.......

It's NEVER going to happen, till they provide a solution to this problem.

😉

I'm wondering how many people have "contacted," Apple with their grievances over this.

I have, on a number of occasions, though I'm not holding my breath that it's done any good..

Thanks, when my "main computer" the iMac gets back from the Apple Store from repair #2 (in 6 months) I will give this a try. I'm limping along on the backup MBP and can't back up now since I need the old backup to breathe life into the iMac when it gets back.

I've given my "feedback" to Apple re: iTunes 11.

I am so afraid they are dumbing down the MacOS and apps to make it act like an iOS device.
