Q: Where is iTunes DJ in iTunes 11?

But when you have more than 55.000 song remote crash when you look by song or use a playlist with all song. iTunes dj was working fine..... That,t a pity

Erm... how about dragging all your library into a playlist and playing that randomly?

will bring up issues with adding new music

You can highlight one song or a group of songs and right click on then and u get the option to add then to the up next list most of the functions are there but hidden

I used iTunes DJ almost exclusively for listening to my music. The feature of playing higher rated songs more often cannot be duplicated by any of the work arounds listed. Apple, I am dissapoint.

I would really beg Apple to restore iTunes DJ and Cover Flow functionalities.

They were unique and made iTunes the best of its kind.

Now there are things that I can't understand:

- In the Artist view, you can not sort the albums of an artist by year!!!!!!

- All the comments said here about iTunes DJ are true. It was essential in my life. I am really disappointed. I feel betrayed by Apple. (I've been Apple user and costumer for 20 years now)

- The Cover Flow View was the best way to explore a library of 100.000 songs.

It looks like Apple now only is thinking in terms of selling (apple Store) and have completely forgotten about the users that loved the classic iTunes.

This is a failure. I really hope they read our comments and considering giving us back the lovely functionalities they have stolen from us.

After Plan this is an other bad move from Apple............... Sad............

All these ideas of trying to get something to try and work like Itunes DJ, but the basic issue for me is that I really liked the interface and the visual coverflow on my large high defintion screens.

Its very simple really just bring it back.

I'm already installing Windows 8 due to this to see if Media centre included in that is any better. The one in Windows 7 was terrible but I want a good visual interface that ITunes DJ used to giive and now doen't.

Very sad state of affairs.

Is it possible to re-install Itunes 10 ?

I think you can delete iTunes 11 and reinstall 10 but you're going to get Software Updates out the yang.

How do you "go back" to itunes 10 if you dont have time machine set up?

I'm wrong, don't try going back because it might corrupt your files.

yes but some folks have been claiming that downloading itunes 10 corrupts the itunes music file and it gives an error making you lose all your music as the music library file has been updated once it was associated with itunes 11

Okay, don't take my advice than, I don't want anyone corrupting their files!!!
