iTunes - SD to HD Upgrade

We're all just fellow users here and have no idea when Apple, or more probably the movie studios, will ever allow this capability. My guess is that we shouldn't hold our collective breath waiting, since there's little or no incentive for the movie studios to ever offer this as an option.

That would be nice wouldn't it but currently they don't.

One variant that did work for me was a TV Show where I'd bought a few episodes and could actually Complete My Season with either HD or SD which allowed me to go back and redownload HD.

Beware with Complete My Season of buying so many episodes that to complete would be less than the cost of 1 episode as then it falls down and you have to buy remaining episodes at full price.
