my ipad2 wifi 3g will not connect to my home wifi after i installed ios6 is there a solution?

Have you upgraded to iOS 6.0.1?
That might solve the issue.
I cant do anything with my ipad now. when i go into settings and tap wi-fi it wont let me slide wi-fi from off to on. any solutions greatly welcome. I got the ipad today so am totally new at this. the ipad is a wifi 3g version. i dont have a sim for it yet is this part of the problem?
Use Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset network settings
