iTunes 11 missing cover flow?
Is it just me or is cover flow missing in iTunes 11?

I think it's gone. I liked that feature.
Me too. Very disapppinted about the remove of coverflow. Will Apple restore this feature? Especially as they have introduced coverflow in the store ...
It doesn't make no sense to omit it. Perhaps they didn't manage to implement it in time to make the November deadline. Hopefully it'll arrive soon in an update.
This is ... just awful. I just loved the cover flow. I think I'll bounce back to WinAmp. Weird decission, it's not as if it was hogging less memory after all.
I made the big mistake to upgrade only to find out that cover flow is no more. That seriously ***** big time. How can I downgrade to 10......?
PS. apple automatically changes 's_u_c_k_s' into *****? Really, are we back to 2nd grade elementary...?
I can only agree. I have just now joined Apple Support Communities for the first time to say: this is one of the worst product updates I've ever seen. Browsing my music library is now just like browsing my CD shelves--only worse!!! I. Hate. The. New. "Improved." iTunes. Period.
I would also like to remove the new version and go back to the previous one. How do I do that?
Totally agree: in Europe too we want CoverFlow back!!
Also when you play your Music Lists on your PC you don't have anymore a large cover on your screen that you can see from the other side of the room, but just a small "invisible" icon at the top of the screen.
Smaller issue: you can't any more regroup your albums in sections by alphabet letter ( A, B, C,D....) : WHY?
G'day
I must say that I am not so negative about the new version, I think it's much nicer to use, especially the way that you can now view the contents of every album, much nicer than the previous version. However, in agreement to previous posts I am saddened that two of the most attractive and desirable features of the user interface have been thoughtlessly ommitted - the coverflow (which I always ran in fullscreen when playing music, especially at public events) and the ability to zoom covers in gridview to suit your own personal taste. I sorely miss those two features. Apple, bring them back...
regards,
David.

I don't like it when Apple removes something that I like. Cover Flow in iTunes is something I liked. The good thing for now is that I have not upgraded to iTunes 11. I will keep 10.7 on my Macs for now.
If anyone at Apple is reading this, please restore cover flow. Thanks.
Cover Flow: please BRING IT BACK!

If you don't have a bootable clone from before the update, check this:

seems to work.
didn't need it myself since I waited to update, I always check this forums first to find out what are the issues/bugs. When there seems to be none or little problems, I update. I've learned my lesson long time ago. Patience is a good thing...
Also, always backup. Time machine isn't enough. Make two bootable clones. One at your place and one at a different location (theft, fire, ...), you can always revert from there.
Also, this thread is very unanimous: 11 pages and growing, not one positive comment about the decision to throw out the Coverflow feature.

One last thing: Apple does monitor this forums a bit, but it helps a lot more to send them your feedback.
As with all the above, I think this was a *huge* mistake by Apple. Cover Flow was a beautiful feature & made iTunes different from the other players. If you're listening Apple, *please* bring Cover Flow back with 11.1! For now, I will revert back to 10.7.
Very dissapointed about this update! Will be reverting to 10.7 as soon as possible
