iTunes 11 missing cover flow?

Is it just me or is cover flow missing in iTunes 11?

Totally agree: in Europe too we want CoverFlow back!!

Also when you play your Music Lists on your PC you don't have anymore a large cover on your screen that you can see from the other side of the room, but just a small "invisible" icon at the top of the screen.

Smaller issue: you can't any more regroup your albums in sections by alphabet letter ( A, B, C,D....) : WHY?

G'day

I must say that I am not so negative about the new version, I think it's much nicer to use, especially the way that you can now view the contents of every album, much nicer than the previous version. However, in agreement to previous posts I am saddened that two of the most attractive and desirable features of the user interface have been thoughtlessly ommitted - the coverflow (which I always ran in fullscreen when playing music, especially at public events) and the ability to zoom covers in gridview to suit your own personal taste. I sorely miss those two features. Apple, bring them back...

regards,

David.

I would also like to remove the new version and go back to the previous one. How do I do that?

MMS13:

If you don't have a bootable clone from before the update, check this:

seems to work.

didn't need it myself since I waited to update, I always check this forums first to find out what are the issues/bugs. When there seems to be none or little problems, I update. I've learned my lesson long time ago. Patience is a good thing...

Also, always backup. Time machine isn't enough. Make two bootable clones. One at your place and one at a different location (theft, fire, ...), you can always revert from there.

Also, this thread is very unanimous: 11 pages and growing, not one positive comment about the decision to throw out the Coverflow feature.

One last thing: Apple does monitor this forums a bit, but it helps a lot more to send them your feedback.
