I recently downloaded and installed iTunes 11, and since doing that my iPhone 4 won't appear in iTunes. It shows in My Computer, but not in iTunes. I've updated the drivers and restarted AMDS etc but no luck. Anyone have the same problem or any suggestions? Cheers.

Are you sure it isn't showing at the top righthand corner of iTunes just under the search bar?

restart you computer after update the itunes , and iphone will show .
tried it-still not working 😟

yeah tried that a few times-still nothing. its showing as charging on the phone, and in my computer as a camera, just not in itunes.
can try uninstalling and reinstalling.

OR check your drivers to see if they have a yellow/red exclamation point. check out #3 on the list from the article below
unfortunately tried both these options as well, to no avail.
Try unplugging and re-plugging your iPhone into your computer. You should see your iPhone in the upper right side (below the search area). I was having the same issue you posted about, and this resolved my problem.
yeah ive tried this, nothing at all. shows up as a digital camera in my computer, so its obviously connecting to the pc, just not to iTunes. hugely frustraiting.....
I suggest you try to re-install iTunes.
I've run into issues where i would have to close out all my apps on my phone and reset it before connecting it to the computer. Ihave also had friends who have these issues as well and come to find out, there was just to much stuff on the phone itself... i.e. hard drive was so full that it couldn't sync and itunes didn't recognize it.
would this be an issue though, as ive been able to sync my phone with the previous version of itunes with the same amount of apps etc on the phone.
I have a 64 GIG iPhone and iPad, (BOTH LOADED) and I didn't have a problem. Like I said, try re-installing iTunes.
iPhone won't show up in iTunes 11.
