That's it I guess....
Posted here the day I updated to 11. Not happy. I gave up this morning after being frustrated and ****** off by the new interface and downgraded to 10.7. (See thread below)
My art is back and all is good with world again.
I will approach Apple updates with due caution from now on; something I never thought I'd say after 25+ plus years as a Mac user.

Is the the new future for Apple without Steve? I feel like im using Windows again, where they update software for the sake of just updating without any significant beneficial changes to make the program any better. No preview album artwork, search insist on giving some annoying view instead of staying in song view is also terrible.

I HATE this new itunes... and I hate the multistep risky process (for someone like me) to switch back to 10.7

well those of us (or at least ME) who have the music on a separate drive get confused about this part
11) Open your iTunes Music Folder.
If you never moved your iTunes folder it’s located here:
Your HD/Your User/Music/iTunes
Or go to the Finder type: Command + Shift + G
Paste this into the the dialog: ~/Music/iTunes
If you moved it to another hard drive, you will know where to locate your iTunes folder.
12) Open the “Previous iTunes Libraries” folder.
13) Find the most recent copy of the “iTunes Library 2012-xx-xx.itl” file.
Normally it will the last file at the bottom of the list.
14) Drag a copy of the file into the iTunes folder. (WHICH itunes folder?)
15) Delete the “iTunes Library” file. (WHICH itunes Library file?)
16) Change the name of the “iTunes Library 2012-xx-xx.itl” to ”iTunes Library” with no .itl extension.
17) Launch iTunes 10.7.

What's the point of having album art work downloaded when you can no longer use the cover art flow??? This new itunes is ridiculous!!!! the new itunes is designed for buying things from the store, no longer user friendly for playing songs!!! this *****!

I used the original method described below in that page, it needs a Time Machine backup.

This is so unfortunate; I will be reverting back to 10.5 and have advised my family members not to upgrade. Since the passing of Steve Jobbs, Apple has done a fantastic job of screwing up everything that made Apple—well, Apple. As an MBA instructor, I am going to use Apple as a case study for my students under the premise of “how to damage your own brand.” Apple, get it together!

Well, I did it! I got rid of iTunes11. I did it by using System Restore to an earlier date. That action produced an "New iTunes Library" error. To fix the error, I renamed the library in the iTunes Folder to .old, copied the latest iTunes Library from the Previous iTunes Library Folder to the iTunes Folder and replaced the date from the name with .itl. I then went to Programs and Features, right clicked iTunes 10.7 and used the repair option. Everything is as it should be, welcome home old friend. Yeh iTunes10.7.
